Thermo Fisher Scientific agreed to acquire CorEvitas, a Waltham, Massachusetts–based real-world evidence (RWE) and clinical registries provider, from Audax Private Equity for $912.5 million in cash. The acquisition, completed August 14, 2023, will fold CorEvitas (approximately 300 employees; expected 2023 revenue ~$110M) into Thermo Fisher’s Laboratory Products and Biopharma Services segment to expand its RWE and life‑sciences data capabilities.

CorEvitas Acquires Pregistry to Expand Pregnancy Safety Registries

CorEvitas LLC, a Waltham, Massachusetts-based real-world data intelligence company and Audax Private Equity portfolio company, has acquired Pregistry, LLC, a Los Angeles-based specialist in pregnancy exposure registries and observational safety studies. The deal expands CorEvitas' syndicated registry capabilities and pharmacovigilance services to include pregnancy-focused real-world evidence for pharmaceutical and biotech customers; terms were not disclosed.

An affiliate of Veritas Capital acquired Coronis Health from 424 Capital and other minority shareholders and acquired MiraMed Global Services from the Mira family, combining the two companies into a single, scaled revenue cycle management (RCM) platform. The combined business, led by Coronis CEO Stephen Grubbs with MiraMed founder Tony Mira as Vice Chairman, will provide end-to-end, technology-enabled RCM solutions across multiple specialties and employ over 8,500 people globally.
