Rockwell Automation has acquired AVATA, a services provider specializing in supply chain management, ERP, and enterprise performance management solutions and a strategic Oracle cloud systems integrator. AVATA will be integrated into Rockwell’s Kalypso business to strengthen end-to-end supply chain consulting, broaden cloud-native capabilities, and extend the company’s digital thread and IT/OT convergence offerings.

Fusion Health Acquires Kalos, Inc.

Fusion Health has completed the acquisition of 100% of the voting and non-voting shares of Kalos, Inc., a Topeka-based provider of pharmacy management software for retail pharmacies, universities and correctional facilities. The deal will allow Fusion to expand and diversify its product offerings and market reach within corrections and other institutional healthcare settings; Kalos will continue operating under its brand as a Fusion subsidiary with staff remaining in Topeka.

Rockwell Automation Acquires Plex Systems

Rockwell Automation has completed the acquisition of Plex Systems, a leading cloud-native smart manufacturing SaaS platform, from Francisco Partners for $2.22 billion. Plex — which serves over 700 customers and manages billions of transactions per day — will be reported within Rockwell's Software and Control operating segment to expand its cloud-native smart manufacturing and MES/ERP capabilities.

Thoma Bravo Acquires Calypso Technology from Bridgepoint and Summit Partners

Thoma Bravo has agreed to acquire Calypso Technology from private equity owners Bridgepoint and Summit Partners; the transaction is expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to regulatory approvals and financial terms were not disclosed. Calypso, a San Francisco–based provider of cloud-enabled, front-to-back capital markets software and managed services, will partner with Thoma Bravo to accelerate product innovation, cloud adoption and growth through organic investment and M&A.

Infosys Acquires Kaleidoscope Innovation
