Catalis, a government-focused SaaS and integrated payments provider based in Alpharetta, Georgia, has acquired New Hampshire-based Axiomatic, a web-based software provider for state property tax oversight (PropTax). The deal expands Catalis' CAMA and state-level property tax oversight capabilities and follows Catalis' recent rebrand and prior recapitalization led by PSG and TPG.

Data Intelligence was represented by DLA Piper (legal) and Monument Capital Partners (financial advisor); Axiologic was supported by Rees Broome, Pipaya and Atlantic Union Bank.

Thoma Bravo Acquires AxiomSL

Thoma Bravo has agreed to acquire a controlling interest in AxiomSL, a provider of cloud-enabled risk management and regulatory reporting software for banks, investment managers, broker-dealers and trading firms. Thoma Bravo said it will partner with AxiomSL's management to accelerate product innovation, expand cloud capabilities and grow the company's customer base; the deal closed with financing from several lenders and advisors were Evercore and Weil, Gotshal & Manges for AxiomSL and Kirkland & Ellis for Thoma Bravo.

Thinktum Inc Acquires Illustrate Inc

Thinktum Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario-based no-code insurance technology firm, has acquired Illustrate Inc., a provider of cloud-based life insurance illustration, e-application and point-of-sale software with operations in Overland Park, Kansas and Toronto, Ontario. The acquisition combines Thinktum's no-code underwriting and e-app solutions with Illustrate's OPUS platform to expand capabilities and service offerings for insurers and insuretechs; senior leadership roles were reallocated with Paul Reaburn as CEO and David Slabodkin as Chairman.

Tetra Tech Acquires Axiom Data Science

Tetra Tech, Inc. has acquired Axiom Data Science, an Anchorage-based informatics and software development firm specializing in oceanic and ecological data management and analysis. Axiom will join Tetra Tech's Government Services Group to expand the firm's advanced analytics capabilities in oceans and ecosystems, supporting clients such as NOAA and NASA; terms were not disclosed.
