Clarience Technologies, parent company to Truck-Lite and Road Ready, has acquired Ann Arbor-based telematics provider Fleetilla to strengthen its connectivity and telematics portfolio. The acquisition brings Fleetilla's hardware and software telematics solutions into Clarience's Road Ready ecosystem to accelerate development of next-generation connected solutions for electric and autonomous commercial vehicles.

Rand McNally, a TELEO Capital portfolio company, has acquired Fleetsu Pty Ltd, a Perth-based provider of cloud-based fleet telematics and data analytics. The acquisition integrates Fleetsu's platform and analytics into Rand McNally's fleet and connected-vehicle offerings to expand capabilities across commercial fleets, OEMs and rental operators.

FleetGO Group Acquires DreamTec Systems

ECI Software Solutions Acquires ThermoGRID

ECI Software Solutions has acquired ThermoGRID, a SaaS field-service management solution for residential service contractors developed by Adam Cory. The acquisition, which closed on September 1, 2020, brings ThermoGRID into ECI's Field Service division to expand ECI's capabilities and reach into residential HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other contractor markets; terms were not disclosed.

Shell USA, Inc. Acquires Volta Inc.

Shell USA, Inc., a subsidiary of Shell plc, has completed the all-cash acquisition of Volta Inc., adding Volta’s EV charging and digital out-of-home media network to Shell’s mobility business. The deal, approved by Volta stockholders and cleared by regulators, transfers Volta’s charging-and-media operations into Shell’s U.S. mobility organization.

Groendyke Transport Acquires Georgia Tank Lines' Tank Truck Assets

Groendyke Transport, Inc. signed an agreement to acquire all tank truck assets of Georgia Tank Lines (GTL), increasing Groendyke's driver count by 39 to about 900 and adding three locations. The deal expands Groendyke's footprint into the greater Atlanta market and was expected to close Jan. 1, 2022.
