Phibro Acquires Zoetis' Medicated Feed Additive Business

Phibro Animal Health Corp. has completed the acquisition of Zoetis Inc.'s medicated feed additive product portfolio and certain water‑soluble products. The deal transfers more than 37 product lines, six manufacturing sites (U.S., Italy, China) and a team of over 300 employees to Phibro, expanding its species coverage and product capabilities across cattle, swine and poultry.

Dômes Pharma Acquires SentrX Animal Care

Dômes Pharma has completed the acquisition of SentrX Animal Care, a Salt Lake City–based developer and manufacturer of veterinary ophthalmology and wound-care products built on its patented BioHAnce crosslinked hyaluronic acid technology. The deal expands Dômes Pharma's product capabilities in veterinary ophthalmology and establishes a stronger foothold for the French family-owned group in North America.

Adragos Pharma Acquires Baccinex

Adragos Pharma, a Munich-headquartered CDMO, has acquired Baccinex, a Swiss sterile fill-finish specialist based in Courroux, Jura. The acquisition adds a US FDA- and EU-GMP-certified 6,200 m² facility and over 110 sterile fill-finish experts to Adragos' global manufacturing network, enhancing its clinical and commercial sterile manufacturing capabilities.

Zoetis Acquires Platinum Performance

Zoetis Inc. has completed the acquisition of Platinum Performance, a privately held, nutrition-focused animal health company based in Buellton, California. Platinum Performance will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Zoetis and continue to be led by Mark Herthel from its Buellton headquarters; financial terms were not disclosed.

Mixlab Acquires NexGen Animal Health to Expand into Large-Animal Compounding

Mixlab has acquired NexGen Animal Health, a Weatherford, Texas-based veterinary compounding specialist, to expand its sterile and non-sterile formulation capabilities into equine, exotic, wildlife and zoo markets. The acquisition — completed with continued financial backing from Vanterra Ventures and other investors — adds a fourth pharmacy location in Texas and enables Mixlab to leverage its proprietary eMix platform to increase production efficiency and broaden its large-animal offering.

Dechra Pharmaceuticals to Acquire Invetx

Dechra Pharmaceuticals Limited has agreed to acquire Boston-based Invetx Inc., a developer of species-specific monoclonal antibody therapeutics for companion animals, for up to $520 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis, subject to customary approvals. The deal gives Dechra access to Invetx's pipeline and half-life extension platform to expand its specialty veterinary biologics capabilities.
