Phibro Acquires Zoetis' Medicated Feed Additive Business

Phibro Animal Health Corp. has completed the acquisition of Zoetis Inc.'s medicated feed additive product portfolio and certain water‑soluble products. The deal transfers more than 37 product lines, six manufacturing sites (U.S., Italy, China) and a team of over 300 employees to Phibro, expanding its species coverage and product capabilities across cattle, swine and poultry.

Wedgewood Pharmacy, a portfolio company of New Harbor Capital, has reached definitive agreements to acquire the San Jose, California assets of Leiters Enterprises (a 22,000 sq ft FDA-registered 503B outsourcing facility) and to acquire Wildlife Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and its subsidiary ZooPharm. The 503B facility will operate as Wedgewood Connect and is expected to begin releasing select sterile injectables and ophthalmics in Q4 2020; both transactions are subject to closing timelines and regulatory approvals.

Swedencare AB (publ) acquired the operations of US-based Animal Pharmaceuticals Inc. for an initial purchase price of USD 15 million (approx. 131 million SEK) plus a potential earnout of up to USD 10 million; consideration includes cash and a directed new share issue. The deal (closed via newly established US subsidiary Animal Pharm Care USA, Inc.) adds a portfolio of supplements and topical veterinary products sold to ~8,500 US veterinary clinics and positions founder Jason Braun to lead the business and become a major Swedencare shareholder.
