Hub Group Acquires TAGG Logistics

Hub Group (Nasdaq: HUBG) acquired TAGG Logistics, a nationwide e-commerce, B2B and omnichannel fulfillment and transportation services provider, for $103 million in cash. The acquisition adds TAGG's ~4 million square feet of warehouse capacity, ~800 employees and expected $200 million of 2022 revenue to Hub Group’s logistics offering, expanding its consolidation and fulfillment footprint and e-commerce capabilities.

Hub Group Acquires NonstopDelivery, LLC

Hub Group, Inc. acquired NonstopDelivery, LLC (NSD), a non-asset based last-mile logistics provider based in Chantilly, Virginia, to add residential last-mile delivery capabilities and provide end-to-end supply chain solutions to its customers. NSD's senior leadership will remain with the business, which operates a nationwide agent network and is expected to be accretive to Hub Group's earnings.

GrubMarket Acquires Oakport Transportation

GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Oakland, California-based Oakport Transportation, a trucking and logistics provider offering refrigerated storage, cross-docking, and LTL/load delivery across the West Coast and select U.S. routes. The deal brings Oakport's facilities and networks into GrubMarket's eCommerce and WholesaleWare SaaS ecosystem to strengthen logistics capabilities and mitigate pandemic-driven supply chain disruptions.

Nuvocargo Acquires Merge Transportation

Nuvocargo has acquired Charleston, South Carolina-based third-party logistics provider Merge Transportation, adding intra-U.S. brokerage and transportation capabilities to its existing U.S.–Mexico cross-border platform. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) brings Merge's ~14-person team into Nuvocargo and expands the company's service offering across North America.

Lineage Logistics Acquires MTC Logistics

Lineage Logistics acquired MTC Logistics, a cold-chain provider operating four refrigerated facilities near key U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports (Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia and Mobile). The deal adds nearly 38 million cubic feet of capacity and over 113,000 pallet positions to Lineage's global temperature-controlled network; financial terms were not disclosed. MTC was a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoffberger Holdings, Inc.

Transplace Acquires Lanehub to Enhance Transportation Collaboration Technology
