Hub Group Acquires Choptank Transport

Hub Group (Nasdaq: HUBG) acquired Choptank Transport, a non-asset refrigerated third-party logistics provider based in Preston, Maryland, for $130 million in cash. The deal expands Hub Group's refrigerated and brokerage capabilities, adds Choptank's technology platform and ~400 employees, and advances Hub's cold-chain strategy to better serve customers across food and retail supply chains.
