IK Partners' Small Cap II Fund has agreed to sell 2Connect to Rivean Capital, with 2Connect's management reinvesting alongside the buyer. 2Connect, headquartered in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, designs and manufactures customised interconnection solutions for OEMs/ODMs and employs over 450 people across the Netherlands, Romania and Germany; financial terms were not disclosed.

Electrical Components International (ECI) Acquires Omni Connection International

Electrical Components International (ECI), a portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management, acquired Omni Connection International, a wire-harness and connection-systems manufacturer serving tier-one automotive suppliers. The deal adds Omni’s engineering capabilities and global manufacturing footprint (approximately 1,300 employees across the U.S., China, and the Philippines) to ECI to support growth in automotive electronics and ADAS applications.

Electrical Components International Acquires Flex-Tec, Inc.

Electrical Components International (ECI), a Cerberus-backed industrial technology platform, has acquired Flex-Tec, Inc., a North American supplier of electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies headquartered in Byromville, Georgia. The acquisition is an add-on to ECI's Industrial Tech platform to expand its capabilities and presence in commercial LED, smart lighting controls, and IoT end markets, with Flex-Tec continuing to operate under its current management from Byromville and a manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico.

Electrical Components International Acquires Britech, Inc.

The acquisition expands ECI's capabilities and presence in the high-growth global semiconductor market and will keep Britech operating under its current management at its 50,000 sq. ft. Allentown facility.

Rosebank Industries PLC has completed the acquisition of Electrical Components International (ECI) from Cerberus Capital Management in a transaction valued at approximately $1.9 billion. ECI, a global manufacturer of electrical distribution systems and control box assemblies with ~20,000 employees and 39 manufacturing locations, will join Rosebank as the buyer expands its industrial manufacturing and engineered-components capabilities.
