Sunroc Corporation, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, completed an asset acquisition of Boise-based Hi-Grade Underground, Inc., expanding Sunroc's utilities capabilities in the Treasure Valley and across Idaho. Hi-Grade's former owner Dave Clifford will remain involved and transition into a Utilities Manager role with Sunroc following the acquisition.

Utah-based Sunroc Corporation, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies, Inc., has acquired Arizona Metro Mix, a family-owned ready-mix concrete producer serving the Phoenix metropolitan area. Commerce Street Capital served as sell-side advisor to Arizona Metro Mix; the acquisition expands Sunroc's construction materials footprint into the Phoenix market.

Stabilus SE Acquires DESTACO Business from Dover Corporation

Stabilus SE has signed an agreement to acquire the DESTACO business from Dover Corporation, a transaction expected to close in the first half of 2024 subject to customary approvals. DESTACO, headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, supplies industrial automation, workholding and robotic tooling and generated $213 million in revenue in 2022 with ~650 employees; Stabilus says the deal significantly strengthens its Industrial Automation capabilities and will positively impact adjusted EBIT upon consolidation.

Sunflower Industrial (KCN Companies) Acquires Controlling Interest in Desco Floor Systems

Sunflower Industrial, a coatings platform majority owned by KCN Companies, has acquired a controlling interest in Desco Floor Systems, a Fortville, Indiana-based commercial and industrial resinous polymer and polished concrete installer. Desco's leadership (Lee Reasor and Mark Verry) will remain in place and will partner with Sunflower's Epoxy Coating Specialists (ECS) to expand the combined company's national installation footprint.

NewSpring Growth Leads $35M Investment in Deposco

Kodiak LLC Acquires Sunocs LLC

Cincinnati-based specialty chemical company Kodiak LLC acquired Sunocs LLC, including its large grease and silicone manufacturing facility in Valparaiso, Indiana. The purchase expands Kodiak’s manufacturing capacity and product portfolio (notably greases and silicones), broadening its customer reach across metalworking, automotive/aerospace, packaging and energy end markets.
