Nijhuis Saur Industries Acquires Veolia's European Mobile Water Services Division

Nijhuis Saur Industries (part of Saur Group) has completed the acquisition of Veolia's European Mobile Water Services division, which will be rebranded as NSI Mobile Water Solutions. The deal adds around 500 mobile units, seven depots and more than 80 staff across Europe, expanding NSI's mobile water and wastewater treatment capabilities and geographic footprint.

Saur Group Acquires Aqua-Chem

France-based Saur Group, an EQT‑backed environmental services company, has acquired Knoxville, Tennessee‑headquartered Aqua‑Chem. Aqua‑Chem will become the North American platform and the water purification global center of excellence for Nijhuis Saur Industries (NSI), expanding Saur's process water and purification capabilities across pharmaceuticals, beverage, energy and military end markets.

Natural Systems Utilities Acquires Acqualogic/Kanso

Natural Systems Utilities (NSU) has completed the acquisition of the Acqualogic/Kanso water and wastewater operations and maintenance business, assuming all O&M contracts for 28 on-site systems in the San Francisco Bay Area. The deal expands NSU's presence into the South Bay region and increases its operating density as it continues to grow its national portfolio of on-site community water and wastewater systems.

NW Natural Water Acquires Northwest Water Services and Aquarius Utilities

NW Natural Water Company, LLC (a subsidiary of Northwest Natural Holding Company) signed agreements to acquire Northwest Water Services and Aquarius Utilities, which together serve about 1,400 connections in Washington near its existing Cascadia Water footprint. The deals are subject to customary closing conditions, including Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission approval, and are expected to close in 2022.

Osmose Utilities Services Acquires Associated Utility Supplies (AUS)

Osmose Utilities Services, a portfolio company of EQT Infrastructure, has acquired Associated Utility Supplies Limited (AUS), a Huddersfield-based manufacturer and distributor of specialist equipment for electric utilities, railroads and telecommunications in the UK and Ireland. The deal is a bolt-on intended to expand Osmose's product capabilities and regional presence, integrating AUS’s pole restoration products, training and repair services into Osmose’s global asset-management platform.

Axius Water Acquires S&N Airoflo, Inc.

Axius Water, a PE-backed provider of nutrient management solutions, has acquired S&N Airoflo, Inc., a Greenwood, Mississippi-based supplier of surface aeration systems. The add-on expands Axius's nutrient removal and lagoon/oxidation ditch aeration capabilities and brings energy-efficient floating brush rotor technology into its portfolio.
