Econolite Acquires RAI Products' Operational Business

Econolite (part of Umovity) has acquired the operational business of its distribution partner RAI Products (Charlotte, NC) to expand its One-Stop-Shop intelligent transportation systems (ITS) portfolio and strengthen distribution and vendor relationships in the U.S. Southeast. RAI, a family-owned distributor founded in 1954, will integrate into Econolite's distribution network to support municipalities, state DOTs, and contractors with traffic signal hardware, ITS software, and related services.

Signal Control Products Acquires Southern Lighting & Traffic Systems

Signal Control Products (a portfolio company of Hamilton Robinson Capital Partners) has acquired Southern Lighting & Traffic Systems (SLTS), a traffic management equipment and pole-structure distributor headquartered in Cumming, Georgia. The deal expands SCP's geographic reach into the Southeast, strengthens OEM relationships, and creates one of the largest distributors of traffic management solutions on the U.S. East Coast.

Bluejay Capital Partners Acquires Pacific West

Bluejay Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Pacific West, LLC, a Salt Lake City–based niche rail and industrial services firm. The transaction was financed with unitranche debt and an equity co-investment from Southfield Mezzanine; terms were not disclosed and Pacific West COO Dustin Hall retains a meaningful ownership stake. Bluejay intends to expand Pacific West's service offerings and geographic reach across the western United States.

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies Acquires Watson Electrical Traffic Signal Division

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies, a portfolio company of Crest Rock Partners, has acquired the Traffic Signal division of Watson Electrical Construction Co. LLC in an asset divestiture. The deal — executed as an add-on to Lumin8's platform — expands Lumin8's ITS and traffic-signal capabilities and more than doubles its presence in North Carolina, creating a combined organization of over 450 employees serving government agencies and contractors.

IMC Logistics Acquires American Pacific Transportation

Memphis-based IMC Logistics has acquired California drayage carrier American Pacific Transportation, adding facilities in Lompoc and Calexico and increasing IMC's drayage truck capacity across California. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal boosts IMC's presence at West Coast ports and expands its regional truckload and dedicated distribution capabilities.

Argosy Private Equity Acquires Western Peaks Logistics
