DCN Dx Acquires Biomed Diagnostics

DCN Dx has completed its acquisition of Biomed Diagnostics, Inc., a microbiological testing products company based in White City, Oregon. The deal expands DCN Dx's point-of-use testing and sampling capabilities across human, veterinary, food safety and environmental markets by adding Biomed's InPouch/InTray culture and transport product lines.

Martis Capital Invests in DCN Dx

Martis Capital has made a growth equity investment in DCN Dx, a Carlsbad, California-based lateral flow diagnostics developer and contract developer of rapid point-of-care tests. As part of the transaction, Charlie Mamrak will join DCN Dx as CEO; the capital will be used to accelerate growth and expand the company's diagnostic capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed and Pegasus Capital and TM Capital advised on the deal.

LabGenomics USA LLC Acquires QDx Pathology

LabGenomics USA LLC, a subsidiary of South Korea–based LabGenomics Co., Ltd., has acquired QDx Pathology, a U.S. clinical and molecular pathology laboratory. The deal, signed in August 2023, is intended to accelerate LabGenomics' entry and expansion into the North American diagnostics market by combining QDx's lab services with LabGenomics' NGS-based molecular diagnostics capabilities.
