Oda and Mathem Merge to Create Nordic Online Grocery Leader

Norwegian online grocer Oda and Swedish online grocer Mathem have agreed to merge, creating the largest online grocery retailer in the Nordics with combined revenues above NOK 5 billion. The transaction combines Oda's logistics platform and Mathem's market position to drive scale, improved efficiency, lower prices and accelerated growth across the region; existing major shareholders (including Kinnevik, Verdane, Axfood and Summa Equity) support the deal.
