The transaction, which closed March 31, 2023, brings together two independent consultant pharmacist companies to expand Pharma-Care's clinical services and geographic reach in long-term care and related markets.

CareRx Corporation entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement to acquire Hogan Pharmacy Partners Ltd., a technology-enabled long-term care pharmacy serving about 725 residents in Ontario. The consideration includes C$2.2 million in CareRx common shares and a C$2.2 million vendor take-back note; CareRx expects the deal to close in May 2022 and to be immediately accretive to earnings while extending its technology and service capabilities for seniors' congregate care.
