Lightpath has signed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of United Fiber & Data; the deal is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in Q3 2024. The acquisition adds a geographically diverse, high-fiber-count 323-route mile long-haul network between New York City and Ashburn, VA, plus a 79-route mile metro network in NYC/NJ, expanding Lightpath's capacity into the Ashburn data center ecosystem and increasing Manhattan serviceable market by over 20%.

Greenlight Networks To Acquire FastBridge Fiber

One Equity Partners Acquires Yorktel

One Equity Partners (OEP) has completed the acquisition of York Telecom Corporation (Yorktel), a global managed services and systems integrator specializing in enterprise collaboration and AI-based monitoring; financial terms were not disclosed. Headquartered in Wall, New Jersey and founded in 1985, Yorktel has over 500 employees and will partner with OEP to grow organically, pursue strategic acquisitions, and expand its Modern Workplace and collaboration offerings.

EQT Infrastructure and Stonepeak Acquire DELTA Fiber

EQT Infrastructure V and Stonepeak have agreed to acquire DELTA Fiber from EQT Infrastructure III, with each buyer taking a 50% stake and co-controlling the company. Headquartered in Schiedam, Netherlands, DELTA Fiber operates an approximately 50,000 km FTTH network connecting about 900,000 households and businesses (approximately 600 employees) and will be supported by the new owners to accelerate rollout to two million connections by 2025.
