Cognizant Acquires Devbridge to Expand Digital Engineering Capabilities

Cognizant has agreed to acquire Devbridge, a Chicago‑headquartered digital product and technology consultancy, to expand its software product engineering capabilities and global delivery footprint. The deal adds more than 600 engineers, designers and product managers across Lithuania, Poland, the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada; Devbridge employees will join Cognizant Softvision. Financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction was expected to close in late 2021.

Cognizant Acquires New Signature

Cognizant announced it will acquire New Signature, a leading Microsoft-focused cloud transformation specialist, to form a new Microsoft Business Group and expand Cognizant's hyperscale cloud advisory and managed services capabilities. The deal (financial terms undisclosed) will bring New Signature’s more than 500 cloud experts into Cognizant and is expected to close in Q3 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.

Cognizant has agreed to acquire AustinCSI, a Dallas-based digital transformation consultancy specializing in enterprise cloud and data analytics advisory services. The acquisition—expected to close in Q4 2022—adds more than 175 consultants to Cognizant's consulting capabilities and strengthens its enterprise cloud, AI and data analytics advisory offerings for Fortune 500 clients across telecommunications, media, technology and automotive sectors.
