Radiance Technologies, a 100% employee‑owned prime contractor based in Huntsville, Alabama, has acquired XL Scientific, LLC (dba Verus Research), an Albuquerque‑based R&D contractor specializing in electromagnetic, directed energy and nuclear systems analysis. The acquisition brings Verus Research's technical capabilities into Radiance's portfolio and expands its DoD and intelligence community customer base.

Energy Fuels Acquires RadTran LLC

Energy Fuels Inc. acquired RadTran LLC, a private specialist in radioisotope separation, to accelerate development and production of medical isotopes (notably Ra-226 and Ra-228) used in targeted alpha therapies for cancer. The deal (closed August 16, 2024) paid $1.5M cash, $1.5M in shares, a 2% royalty on future radium revenues and up to $14M in additional cash/shares tied to milestones; RadTran's CEO Saleem Drera joins Energy Fuels to lead radioisotope efforts.

Hanwha Systems Acquires Phasor Solutions' Satellite Antenna Business and Assets

Hanwha Systems acquired the business and assets of Phasor Solutions, Ltd., a U.K. developer of broadband electronically steerable satellite antennas, in a deal announced as of June 5, 2020. The acquisition secures Phasor's engineers, IP, technical data and test equipment to accelerate Hanwha Systems' entry into LEO satellite communication antenna technology and expand its aerospace and satellite communications capabilities globally.
