Vista Equity Partners completed a take-private acquisition of KnowBe4, Inc., the provider of a leading security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, paying $24.90 per share in cash. The deal takes KnowBe4 off Nasdaq and follows Frontier Growth’s prior investment in the company; Vista said it will provide resources and operational support to scale KnowBe4’s cybersecurity offerings.

KnowBe4 Acquires SecurityAdvisor

KnowBe4 has completed the acquisition of SecurityAdvisor to integrate real-time user behavior analysis and micro-learning into its security awareness and simulated phishing platform. The deal will enable a new "Human Detection and Response (HDR)" capability by correlating training and testing with real-world user behavior and feeding insights to SOCs and existing security controls.

Mimecast Acquires Elevate Security
