IK Partners Acquires Majority Stake in FCG Group AB from Bridgepoint

IK Partners' Small Cap III Fund has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Stockholm-headquartered GRC services provider FCG Group AB from Bridgepoint Group plc. Management and key employees are reinvesting and will remain significant shareholders; IK plans to support FCG's international growth and expand its service offering in areas such as ESG and GRC technology. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and was expected to close in Q2 2022; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bloom Equity Partners Acquires RightCrowd (PIAM Software Business)

Bloom Equity Partners completed a buyout of RightCrowd's Workforce Access Software and Presence Control businesses via a carveout of RightCrowd Software Pty Ltd. and RightCrowd NV from ASX-listed RightCrowd Limited. The deal (approved August 24, 2023 and closed in late September 2023) gives Bloom a platform in physical identity and access management (PIAM) software, while the remaining cyber-focused business within the listed entity will be rebranded Gathid Limited.

Radiant Logic Acquires Brainwave GRC

Brown & Brown, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire Global Risk Partners Limited (GRP) from funds advised by Searchlight Capital Partners; the transaction is expected to close in Q3 2022 subject to regulatory approvals, including the UK Financial Conduct Authority. GRP is a London-headquartered independent insurance intermediary with roughly 2,100 employees, operations across 110+ locations in the UK and Ireland, and annual revenue of approximately $340 million.

Axiom GRC Acquires IS Partners to Accelerate U.S. Expansion

Axiom GRC has acquired IS Partners, a U.S. cyber assurance and compliance services provider, to accelerate its North American expansion and broaden its cyber assurance and compliance offerings. IS Partners—headquartered in the Philadelphia area—serves roughly 600 customers with recurring audits across frameworks such as SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI DSS and CMMC; the deal is Axiom's first U.S.-headquartered acquisition and its fifth since partnering with Inflexion.
