EmployBridge Acquires Bluecrew from IAC

EmployBridge, a PE-backed leader in light-industrial staffing, has completed its acquisition of Bluecrew, a W‑2 workforce-as-a-service platform, from IAC. The deal combines EmployBridge's scale with Bluecrew's digital-first technology; IAC received cash and combined-company stock and will be a minority shareholder while Apollo-managed funds remain the combined company's controlling shareholder.

Cast & Crew Acquires The TEAM Companies

Cast & Crew, an EQT-backed provider of software and services to the entertainment industry, signed a definitive agreement to acquire The TEAM Companies, a payroll and production management solutions provider serving advertising, music and live events. The TEAM Companies was a portfolio company of TorQuest Partners; terms were not disclosed. TEAM will continue to operate as a distinct brand and its leadership will report into Cast & Crew.

Square Acquires Stitch Labs

Square acquired multichannel inventory and operations management SaaS provider Stitch Labs and will integrate the Stitch team into Square's Seller ecosystem. Stitch Labs will stop taking new customers but continue supporting existing customers through Spring 2021 while Square works to incorporate Stitch's capabilities into its product set.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires CrewSight to Expand Construction Access and Workforce Solutions

Twitter Acquires Squad

The Squad team will join Twitter to bring audio/video and screen-sharing capabilities into Twitter’s product; Squad said it would shut down the standalone app to focus on building inside Twitter.
