Edifecs, a health information technology company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, has acquired Talix, a San Francisco-based provider of NLP-enabled risk adjustment and quality workflow software for payers and providers. The acquisition integrates Talix's patented natural language processing and taxonomy with Edifecs' Encounter Management platform to expand risk adjustment, coding, and provider-focused workflows across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and ACA products.
