YakGear will operate as a standalone division out of its Houston facility and the acquisition expands T-H Marine's aftermarket marine product offerings and reach into paddle-sports channels.

T-H Marine Acquires Heartland Global Services

T-H Marine Supplies, LLC (a Valesco-backed platform) has acquired the assets of Heartland Global Services, LLC, a family-owned supplier of stainless-steel ladders, hardware, electronics and plastics for the recreational marine market. Heartland will operate as a standalone division in Angola, Indiana, with the existing Heartland management team (including Ryan Marshall as division president) remaining in place.

Valesco Industries Acquires T-H Marine Supplies, Inc.

Valesco Industries completed a majority buyout of T-H Marine Supplies, Inc., a Huntsville, Alabama-based manufacturer of recreational boat parts and marine accessories. Brookside provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment to facilitate the transaction; the deal recapitalized the existing ownership group and will support growth initiatives including expansion of T-H Marine's e-commerce footprint.

Marine Supply of Winter Haven, a longstanding local marine supply retailer, was acquired by a group of local investors led by John Saterbo, Tom Kersting, and Jeff Donalson of Thomas Capital. The sellers, founders Richard Emry and Tricia Gurr, are exiting as they approach retirement; the new owners plan to preserve operations, retain staff, and invest in the property's amenities and lakeside experience.

Guardian Fire Protection Services Acquires Harris Fire Protection

Guardian Fire Protection Services, backed by investor Knox Lane, has acquired Harris Fire Protection, a Baltimore-based specialist in special hazard and marine fire suppression systems. The acquisition expands Guardian's presence across the Mid-Atlantic and bolsters its capabilities in marine and special-hazard fire protection; terms were not disclosed.
