Ara Partners Acquires Majority Interest in Lincoln Terminal Holdings

Ara Partners has acquired a majority ownership interest in Lincoln Terminal Holdings, LP, a Greenville, South Carolina-based provider of renewable fuel rail transloading and storage facilities. Ara committed additional capital to support significant expansion of Lincoln's renewable fuel infrastructure footprint across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic United States.

Morrison & Co-Led Consortium Acquires FiberLight

Funds managed by H.R.L. Morrison & Co, together with Australian Retirement Trust and a managed client of UBS Asset Management, signed a definitive agreement to acquire FiberLight, a U.S. fiber infrastructure provider, from Thermo Companies. The consortium will support FiberLight's network expansion across major U.S. markets to meet rising demand for high-bandwidth connectivity; terms were not disclosed and the deal is subject to customary closing conditions.

CBRE Investment Management Acquires Gateway Fiber from Crosstimbers Capital Group

A fund sponsored by CBRE Investment Management has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Gateway Fiber, a Wright City, Missouri-based fiber-to-the-home provider, from Crosstimbers Capital Group. CBRE IM said the acquisition will expand its private infrastructure portfolio and enable integration with its middle-mile portfolio company WANRack to accelerate broadband deployment in underserved communities; the deal is expected to close in February 2023 pending regulatory approvals.

Ara Partners Acquires Genera Energy Inc.

Ara Partners, a private equity firm focused on industrial decarbonization, has acquired Genera Energy Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of non-wood agricultural pulp and molded fiber packaging. Ara committed up to an additional $200 million to expand Genera's manufacturing footprint and capacity in the U.S.; Genera's previous owners (WindSail Capital Group, Coppermine Capital and Stairway Capital) will retain minority stakes.

Osmose Utilities Acquires Centillion Solutions

Osmose Utilities has acquired Centillion Solutions, Inc. to expand its telecom engineering and technical services capabilities. Centillion, an engineering and geospatial services provider for FTTx and Hybrid Fiber Coax networks with operations in the U.S., Europe, Australia and a design center in India, will enable Osmose to offer end-to-end fiber engineering, design, permitting and post-construction services at greater scale; Osmose is a PE-backed platform owned by EQT Infrastructure.

Argo Infrastructure Partners Increases Stake in TierPoint

Argo Infrastructure Partners acquired the equity interests held by the majority of TierPoint's minority shareholders, further increasing Argo's ownership in the data center platform; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction has closed. The move brings total capital formation under Argo's ownership to $3.0 billion and is intended to deepen support for TierPoint's national expansion of its 40 data centers across 20 markets and continued financing strategy.
