Warren Equity Partners Acquires Majority Interest in M&D Distributors

Warren Equity Partners acquired a majority interest in Magneto & Diesel Injector Service, Inc. (“M&D Distributors”) from the Ingram family, who rolled a portion of their equity and will remain involved on the board. M&D, based in Humble, Texas, is an aftermarket distributor and rebuilder of diesel engine parts serving commercial trucking and industrial equipment markets; Warren Equity will support the company’s next phase of growth. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Gridiron Capital has acquired Magneto & Diesel Holdings, LLC (M&D), a value-added distributor and remanufacturer of diesel engine aftermarket parts based in Humble, Texas, from Warren Equity Partners. The investment positions M&D for accelerated organic and acquisitional growth across the fragmented diesel engine aftermarket serving trucking, agriculture, marine and infrastructure end markets.

Mantucket Capital Acquires Turbo Terminal Tractors

Mantucket Capital Management Corporation, a Denver-based private investment firm and family office, has acquired Turbo Terminal Tractors, a Gainesville, Georgia-based provider of sales, leasing, rental, and service for terminal tractors used at warehouses, distribution centers and ports. The seller was an affiliated entity of Syfan Logistics; Mantucket said it will support Turbo's nationwide fleet, service capabilities and growth plans.

Gryphon-backed Shermco Industries Acquires Electrical Manufacturing and Distributors (EMD)

Shermco Industries, majority-owned by Gryphon Investors, has acquired Electrical Manufacturing and Distributors, Inc. (EMD), a Wichita Falls-based provider of process controls, systems integration, electrical engineering and control panel fabrication. The acquisition expands Shermco's service capabilities in process controls and strengthens its presence in midstream oil & gas and industrial end markets; EMD's management will remain with the company.
