Gryphon-backed Shermco Industries Acquires Electrical Manufacturing and Distributors (EMD)

Shermco Industries, majority-owned by Gryphon Investors, has acquired Electrical Manufacturing and Distributors, Inc. (EMD), a Wichita Falls-based provider of process controls, systems integration, electrical engineering and control panel fabrication. The acquisition expands Shermco's service capabilities in process controls and strengthens its presence in midstream oil & gas and industrial end markets; EMD's management will remain with the company.
