Dallas-based private equity firm Sky Island Capital has made a majority investment in USA Industries, a South Houston, Texas manufacturer of piping isolation and testing products, alongside the company's second-generation founding family. Sky Island will support USA Industries' growth plan and product/solutions expansion through operational and financial resources as the company continues serving refining, petrochemical, chemical, industrial and OEM end markets.

ARCH Precision Components Acquires Metalcraft Technologies

ARCH Precision Components, a Madison Dearborn Partners portfolio company, has acquired Metalcraft Technologies Inv., LLC (MTI) of Cedar City, Utah as an add-on to expand ARCH's aerospace and defense manufacturing footprint. MTI, a 30+-year sheet metal fabrication and aircraft-components manufacturer operating roughly 150,000 sq. ft. across two facilities, brings additional sheet-metal fabrication, machining and surface-treatment capabilities to the ARCH platform.
