Progress Acquires Kemp Technologies

Progress (NASDAQ: PRGS) acquired Kemp, the application experience (AX) company, for $258 million in cash. The purchase adds Kemp's LoadMaster and Flowmon application-delivery and network-visibility capabilities to Progress' portfolio to expand its application experience and network performance monitoring offerings.
