Protos Security Acquires ControlByNet

Protos Security (a Southfield Capital portfolio company) has acquired ControlByNet, a Norcross, Georgia-based provider of cloud-based video management and remote guarding solutions. The add-on deal, which closed August 15, 2022, expands Protos' technology-enabled managed security offerings; Monroe Capital and Wells Fargo provided debt financing and ControlByNet's founder Ryan Strange will remain in leadership post-close.
