Kymera International, a Palladium Equity Partners-backed specialty materials and surface technologies company, has acquired Metallisation Ltd., a UK-based leader in thermal spray equipment and consumables. The add-on will expand Kymera's Surface Technologies division capabilities and strengthen its equipment, materials and application services offering for aerospace, medical and industrial customers across the UK and Europe.

Kymera International Acquires Coating Center Castrop GmbH

Kymera International has acquired Coating Center Castrop GmbH (CCC), a Castrop-Rauxel, Germany-based thermal spray and precision machining services provider. The acquisition expands Kymera's Surface Technologies footprint in Europe, adds a European HaloJet ID HVOF service center and CNC machining capabilities to support aerospace, marine propulsion, pharmaceutical and industrial customers; terms were not disclosed.

Kymera International Acquires Assets of Royal Metal Powders

Kymera International has acquired the majority of the assets of Royal Metal Powders after Royal decided to close its Maryville, Tennessee plant. Kymera — a Palladium Equity Partners–backed specialty materials platform — will continue limited operations at the Maryville facility under Royal leadership while transferring production into Kymera’s plants in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Germany to ensure continuity of supply.

Kymera International Acquires CASL Surface Technologies Corp.

Kymera International, a Palladium-backed specialty materials manufacturer, has acquired CASL Surface Technologies Corp., a developer and manufacturer of wear‑resistant metallic and ceramic alloy coatings with facilities in Alberta, Canada and a production site in Houston, Texas. The acquisition — Kymera's sixth under Palladium Equity Partners' ownership — is intended to expand Kymera's coatings capabilities and accelerate product development and growth initiatives.

Kymera International has acquired the majority of assets of KDF Fluid Treatment, Inc., a Three Rivers, Michigan-based maker of copper-zinc process media for water and industrial treatment systems. The asset purchase (terms undisclosed) expands Kymera's specialty materials portfolio into the water filtration market and adds complementary brass powder media capabilities; Kymera is PE-backed by Palladium Equity Partners.

Kymera International Acquires Reading Alloys from AMETEK

Kymera International, a specialty materials company owned by Palladium Equity Partners, has acquired the Reading Alloys business from AMETEK, Inc. Reading Alloys, founded in 1953, produces master alloys, thermal barrier coatings and titanium powders for aerospace, defense, medical and industrial markets. The acquisition is an add-on to the Kymera platform to expand its product capabilities and end-market reach.
