Water's Edge Dermatology, a Gryphon Investors-backed dermatology platform, has acquired a controlling interest in Coast Dermatology, a medical and cosmetic dermatology practice in Venice, Florida. Terms were not disclosed; Coast will continue to operate under its existing name led by Dr. Greg Neily. This marks Water's Edge's second add-on acquisition since Gryphon acquired the platform and follows the recent purchase of PBC Dermatology.

AQUA Dermatology Acquires Sunrise Dermatology

The practice will retain its name and physicians Dr. Scott Freeman and Dr. Ryan Ramagosa will remain in leadership and reinvest a portion of proceeds; financial terms were not disclosed.

Sun Capital Affiliate Acquires West Dermatology from Enhanced Healthcare Partners

Advanced Dermatology Acquires Palmetto Dermatology

Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery has acquired Palmetto Dermatology, the West Columbia, South Carolina practice of Dr. Jeffrey K. Smith. The practice becomes Advanced Dermatology's second location in South Carolina and joins its ~150-office national platform; Dr. Smith and his clinical team will remain on site. The deal is an add-on aimed at expanding Advanced Dermatology's regional footprint and clinical capabilities (including Mohs surgery).
