The transaction closed October 1, 2024 and expands FEWA’s footprint and service capabilities in the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

CECO Environmental Acquires Compass Water Solutions

CECO Environmental Corp. acquired Compass Water Solutions, a supplier of membrane-based industrial water and wastewater treatment systems, for a total purchase price of $12.5 million. The acquisition (completed May 2022) expands CECO's industrial water capabilities, adds a short-cycle revenue mix, and is expected to be accretive to EBITDA, EPS, and free cash flow in 2022.

Compass Group Equity Partners Acquires Wilnat, Inc. (d/b/a KGM)

St. Louis-based private equity firm Compass Group Equity Partners acquired Wilnat, Inc., which does business as KGM, a Tulsa-based distributor and servicer of meters, regulators, valves, and other flow-control equipment serving utilities and municipalities. The transaction closed December 29, 2021; Compass intends to accelerate KGM's growth through geographic expansion, new product sets, and an expanded services/refurbishment offering. Tim and Nancy Wood were the selling owners.
