Patriot Capital provided debt financing to support the add-on acquisition, and management (Joelle DeVane and Bill DeVane) will remain in leadership to ensure continuity of operations.

CECO Environmental Acquires Compass Water Solutions

The acquisition (completed May 2022) expands CECO's industrial water capabilities, adds a short-cycle revenue mix, and is expected to be accretive to EBITDA, EPS, and free cash flow in 2022.

Commercial Energy Specialists Holdings LLC (dba Aquafinity), a Turning Basin Capital and Vigeo Investments-backed platform, has acquired Aquatic Environmental Systems, Inc. (AES), a Tempe, Arizona-based provider of full-service water treatment solutions for commercial and institutional swimming pools in Arizona, New Mexico and west Texas. The add-on deal, which closed June 30, 2023, expands Aquafinity’s geographic presence in the Southwest; terms were not disclosed.
