iPipeline has acquired IFS (Impact Financial Systems), a Charlotte-based provider of service request automation and low-code/no-code workflow solutions for broker-dealers, RIAs, banks and insurance companies. The deal brings IFS's workflow engine and automation capabilities into iPipeline's SSG Digital platform to expand advisor-facing automation, compliance workflows and low-code product offerings.

Roper Technologies Acquires iPipeline from Thoma Bravo

The transaction, announced August 8, 2019, will transfer iPipeline from private equity owner Thoma Bravo to Roper; the deal is expected to close in Q3 2019 subject to regulatory approval.

Thinktum Inc Acquires Illustrate Inc

Thinktum Inc., a Waterloo, Ontario-based no-code insurance technology firm, has acquired Illustrate Inc., a provider of cloud-based life insurance illustration, e-application and point-of-sale software with operations in Overland Park, Kansas and Toronto, Ontario. The acquisition combines Thinktum's no-code underwriting and e-app solutions with Illustrate's OPUS platform to expand capabilities and service offerings for insurers and insuretechs; senior leadership roles were reallocated with Paul Reaburn as CEO and David Slabodkin as Chairman.

Zelis Acquires Payer Compass

Apax Partners Acquires Zellis Group from Bain Capital

Zellis is a leading UK and Ireland payroll, HR and benefits software provider (headquartered in Bristol) with a high degree of recurring revenue, serving around one third of the FTSE 100 and processing pay for roughly 5 million people monthly; Apax said it will support further investments and M&A to accelerate growth.

Zellis Acquires elementsuite from Limerston Capital

Zellis has agreed to acquire elementsuite, an AI‑enabled HR and workforce management software provider, from Limerston Capital. The deal combines elementsuite's AI capabilities (including its assistant ELLA) with Zellis' payroll and HR platform to expand Zellis' HCM and WFM capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
