AE Industrial Partners Acquires Adcole Maryland Aerospace

AE Industrial Partners (AEI) has acquired Adcole Maryland Aerospace (AMA), a Marlborough, Massachusetts–based designer and manufacturer of mission-critical spacecraft components and small satellites, from Adcole Corporation/Artemis Capital Partners. The acquisition establishes AEI's space technology platform and aims to position AMA to capture growing demand from U.S. government and commercial space markets.

PMA Financial Acquires Miles Capital

PMA Financial Network has reached a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all assets of Miles Capital, Inc. from Chairman David Miles and other employee owners and investors. Miles Capital is an independent, SEC-registered investment adviser managing approximately $1.7 billion in AUM; the deal was expected to close in Q1 2020 and terms were not disclosed.

Coltala Holdings Acquires AeroParts Group to Form Coltala Aerospace

Coltala Holdings has acquired AeroParts Group (APG), a Mansfield, Texas-based aircraft MRO and composite repair services provider, and established Coltala Aerospace. Thornburg Bow River Advisers’ Private Credit team provided financing to support the transaction as Coltala builds a platform to expand aerospace and defense maintenance, repair and precision machining capabilities in the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

Jet Parts Engineering Acquires Mitchell PMA from Mitchell Aircraft

Jet Parts Engineering (JPE), a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital, has acquired Mitchell PMA, the PMA division carved out from Mitchell Aircraft. The add-on expands JPE's FAA-PMA product portfolio and engineering capabilities, bringing over 170 PMA parts and experienced staff into the JPE platform while Mitchell Aircraft continues operating its OEM distribution business independently.

PMA Industries Acquires United Western Enterprises

The add-on expands PMA's photochemical etching capabilities and broadens its service offering to aerospace, defense, electronics and medical end markets; terms were not disclosed.

FDH Aero Acquires Madison Aerospace

The deal expands FDH's product offerings and strengthens its footprint in the Texas aerospace production supply chain; Madison's leadership (Brian and Craig Hutchins) will continue to run operations. Audax Private Equity is the sponsor behind FDH (FDH has completed multiple add-ons since Audax's 2017 investment).
