Curaleaf Holdings Acquires Northern Green Canada

Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. has signed a deal to acquire Northern Green Canada, an EU-GMP certified Canadian licensed cannabis producer, to secure high-quality indoor EU-GMP flower supply and bolster Curaleaf's European and Australasian expansion. The acquisition is expected to close in Q2 2024 pending regulatory approvals and will strengthen Curaleaf's supply chain for key markets including Germany, Australia/New Zealand and the U.K.

Green Thumb Industries Acquires LeafLine Industries to Enter Minnesota

Green Thumb Industries Inc. has closed the acquisition of LeafLine Industries, a licensed Minnesota medical cannabis cultivator and dispensary operator. The deal includes a cultivation facility and five operating retail locations (Eagan, Hibbing, St. Cloud, St. Paul and Willmar), adds ~100+ employees to Green Thumb, and represents a strategic entry into the Minnesota medical cannabis market.

TREES CORPORATION Acquires Green Tree Assets (Longmont & Berthoud, CO)

TREES CORPORATION signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Green Tree, including the Green Tree Longmont and Green Tree Berthoud dispensaries, over 34,000 square feet of cultivation and a manufacturing (MIP) facility in Colorado. The deal expands TREES' Colorado footprint to four dispensaries (and seven retail locations across Colorado and Oregon) and is expected to generate more than $10M of revenue for the TREES platform.

GrowGeneration Acquires Assets of Chlorophyll, Inc.

The acquisition adds roughly $8 million of revenue and retains founders Beau Speicher and Lee McCall in sales and business development roles.

Cresco Labs Acquires Laurel Harvest Labs

Cresco Labs has completed the acquisition of Pennsylvania clinical registrant Laurel Harvest Labs, adding ~52,000 sq. ft. of indoor cultivation/processing capacity, an operational dispensary in Montgomeryville and a second dispensary under construction in Scranton. The deal expands Cresco’s retail and cultivation footprint in Pennsylvania to strengthen its wholesale market position and support clinical research partnerships.

NewLeaf Brands Acquires Colorado-Based Mydecine Group

NewLeaf Brands Inc. signed an LOI and subsequently a definitive agreement in April 2020 to acquire Mydecine Group, a Colorado-headquartered company focused on medicinal and infused mushroom cultivation, processing, product development and R&D. The deal contemplated the purchase of 100% of Mydecine for USD $850,000 payable in NewLeaf common shares; NewLeaf later operated the business as a wholly-owned subsidiary and rebranded to Mydecine Innovations Group.
