McKesson Acquires Rx Savings Solutions

McKesson Corporation has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Rx Savings Solutions (RxSS) for up to $875 million (approximately $600M upfront plus up to $275M contingent consideration). The acquisition brings RxSS's prescription price-transparency and medication adherence capabilities into McKesson's Prescription Technology Solutions business to expand medication access, affordability and outcomes-management offerings for payers, employers and patients.

Medvantx, a San Diego-based pharmacy services provider, has acquired RxS, a multichannel sample management and accountability solutions company headquartered in Manalapan, New Jersey. The acquisition integrates RxS’s sampling and engagement technology with Medvantx’s patient access, PAP fulfillment, telehealth and distribution services to broaden capability and accelerate access for pharmaceutical and device manufacturers.

ConnectiveRx Acquires Rx Savings Assistant from Medicom Digital

ConnectiveRx has acquired the Rx Savings Assistant software and distribution channel from Medicom Digital, adding the in‑EHR prescription savings tool to its EHR Network to expand point-of-care affordability messaging. The acquisition integrates the Rx Savings Assistant into ConnectiveRx’s existing EHR distribution (including Epic integrations) to extend the company's prescriber reach and patient savings delivery across health systems, hospitals and ambulatory settings.

MedImpact Acquires Elixir Solutions From Rite Aid

The deal, which closed in late December, expands Syner-G's CMC and regulatory capabilities to better support clients across pre-IND through post-marketing stages; financial terms were not disclosed.

OptimizeRx Acquires EvinceMed Specialty Drug Market Access Platform
