Blue Matter, a life-sciences consulting firm and portfolio company of Baird Capital, has acquired Sam Brown Inc., a healthcare-focused corporate communications and public relations agency. The acquisition will add full-service strategic communications capabilities (creative, digital and media) to Blue Matter’s consulting offerings; Sam Brown will retain its name and be led by founder Laura Liotta, who will join Blue Matter’s executive team.
