Kinder Morgan Acquires Kinetrex Energy

Kinder Morgan, Inc. agreed to acquire Indianapolis-based Kinetrex Energy from an affiliate of Parallel49 Equity for $310 million. The acquisition brings Kinetrex's LNG fueling business and growing renewable natural gas (RNG) platform — including a 50% interest in a major Indiana RNG facility and three additional landfill RNG projects under development — into Kinder Morgan's Energy Transition Ventures to expand its RNG capabilities.

Kinetik Holdings Acquires Durango Permian from Morgan Stanley Energy Partners

Kinetik Holdings Inc. has completed the acquisition of Durango Permian LLC from investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Energy Partners. The transaction transfers Durango Permian's Permian Basin gas gathering, processing and CO2 sequestration assets to Kinetik and includes cash and equity consideration with contingent payments tied to commissioning of the Kings Landing processing project.

Houston-based Freedom CNG has acquired Colorado operator X3 CNG and Utah-based Lancer Energy to expand its compressed renewable natural gas (C/RNG) and multi-fuel fueling footprint across the Western United States. The deals add X3 CNG's public-access CNG network (including major sites in Colorado Springs and Greeley) and Lancer Energy's expertise in building and maintaining CNG, RNG, EV and hydrogen fueling infrastructure.
