PolyQuest Acquires Baker Transportation

PolyQuest, Inc., a privately held thermoplastic resin distributor based in Wilmington, North Carolina, has agreed to acquire Baker Transportation, Inc., an asset-based regional carrier headquartered in Lake City, South Carolina. The deal (expected to close October 1, 2023) gives PolyQuest direct transportation and logistics capabilities while the Baker family will remain involved in operations.
