MW Industries, a global provider of precision components, acquired Ideal Fasteners, a manufacturer of threaded fasteners, with the deal closing December 10, 2021. The acquisition expands MW Industries' US manufacturing footprint and product breadth—adding stock, standard, and custom threaded fasteners to MW Components' portfolio for distribution to customers across more than 75 countries.

Olympus Partners Acquires MEI Rigging & Crating from Dorilton Capital

Olympus Partners, a Stamford-based private equity firm, has acquired MEI Rigging & Crating (MEI), a national provider of rigging, machinery moving, millwrighting, industrial storage and crating, from Dorilton Capital. MEI operates 12 regional offices across the United States and serves end markets including datacenters, semiconductors and electric vehicles; Olympus said the acquisition will support MEI's next phase of national platform growth.

Molded Devices, Inc. Acquires MEDEFAB

Molded Devices, Inc. (MDI), a Tempe, Arizona-based plastics and rubber contract manufacturer, acquired MEDEFAB, a Jaffrey, New Hampshire OEM manufacturer of single-use plastic medical devices. The transaction, advised by XLCS Partners, closed on January 20, 2020 and expands MDI's medical device manufacturing capabilities and U.S. footprint.

Kyowa Industrial Acquires Eidemiller Precision Machining

Kyowa Industrial Co., Ltd. of Takasaki, Japan acquired Eidemiller Precision Machining of Milford, Michigan. The acquisition gives Kyowa a manufacturing footprint in the U.S. Midwest to better serve automotive and other manufacturing customers; Eidemiller's owner, Marty Eidemiller, sold the business to transition to retirement with advisory support from Calder Capital.

Shimtech Industries Acquires Fastener Technology Corp

Shimtech Industries, a PE-backed aerospace components platform, has acquired Fastener Technology Corp. (FTC), a North Hollywood supplier of high-strength specialty fasteners for commercial and military aerospace customers. FTC will remain led by its existing management team and will integrate with Shimtech's aerospace divisions to expand manufacturing capacity and product offerings.

Endries International Acquires Assembly Fasteners, Inc.
