Great Lakes Rubber Acquires Midwest Sealing Products and Fluid Logic Valves

Great Lakes Rubber & Supply, Inc. (GLR), a third-generation family-owned sealing distributor based in Milwaukee, acquired Midwest Sealing Products and Fluid Logic Valves in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The acquisitions expand GLR's manufacturing capabilities in custom die-cut gaskets, molded shapes and hydraulic valves and broaden its presence in the Chicago and greater Midwest markets.

MS Rubber (founded 1963) supplies hydraulic hoses, fittings, belts, gaskets and related products across Mississippi and the Southern U.S.; TRG (headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin) said the acquisition expands its footprint and sealing/distribution capabilities in the Southeastern United States.

GRT Rubber Technologies Acquires Valley Rubber

GRT Rubber Technologies (GRT), a PE-backed manufacturer of engineered rubber products, acquired Valley Rubber, a maker of custom rubber solutions for mining, aggregates and industrial applications. The deal, supported by a $22.1 million follow-on investment from Main Street Capital Corporation to GRT, expands GRT's product portfolio, end-market exposure and international footprint (notably Chile, Mexico and Peru).

Singer Industrial Acquires Wilmington Rubber & Gasket

Singer Industrial has acquired Wilmington Rubber & Gasket Co., Inc., a Wilmington, North Carolina-based distributor and fabricator of industrial rubber products. The deal expands Singer Industrial's footprint in the Southeastern United States and adds local fabrication capabilities (including a waterjet cutting shop) to support customers across pulp & paper, chemical, marine and other end markets. Owner Howard Russell and the Wilmington team will join Singer Industrial's network of locations.
