First American Financial Corporation has signed an agreement to acquire Docutech, a provider of document, eClose and fulfillment technology for the mortgage industry. The acquisition (Docutech was a Serent Capital portfolio company) expands First American’s digital mortgage and settlement capabilities and will keep Docutech’s management team, led by CEO Amy Brandt, in place.

Integrity Data Solutions Acquires iDoc Corp

DOCUmation Acquires PopSmart Technologies, LLC USA

DOCUmation, a privately-held Texas technology solutions provider based in San Antonio, has acquired PopSmart Technologies, LLC USA, a Farmers Branch, Texas provider of Kyocera, RISO and Xerox toner products and managed print/document solutions. The deal expands DOCUmation’s presence across Texas and augments its managed print, IT and document management capabilities; PopSmart’s Mexican customers will remain with the existing PopSmart service team.

Compass Acquires First Alliance Title

Compass, the real estate technology company, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire First Alliance Title LLC, a leading title and escrow provider in the Denver metro area. The acquisition expands Compass' title and escrow portfolio and advances its goal of offering an end-to-end platform for residential real estate transactions; terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close by year-end.
