Westwood Professional Services, a Plano, Texas–based design and engineering firm, has acquired CSRS, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana–based development advisory and program management consulting firm. The deal expands Westwood’s footprint into Louisiana (adding four offices), adds locations in Texas and Southern California, and brings new capabilities including comprehensive program management, grants management, owner's representation, and governmental advisory.

Blackstone Energy Transition Partners Makes Majority Investment in Westwood Professional Services

Private equity funds affiliated with Blackstone (Blackstone Energy Transition Partners) have agreed to make a majority investment in Westwood Professional Services, Inc., acquiring the stake held by Endurance Partners and Palm Beach Capital while Westwood management and employee shareholders retain a minority interest. Westwood, a Plano, Texas–based engineering and design firm with more than 1,600 employees, serves renewables, power, real estate and public infrastructure end markets and will leverage Blackstone's resources to expand capabilities across those markets.

Versar Acquires Louis Berger Services from WSP

Versar, Inc., a Kingswood Capital-backed engineering and government-services platform, has acquired Louis Berger Services (LBS) from WSP Global Inc. The acquisition adds approximately 1,400 employees and expands Versar's operations, maintenance, logistics, and installation support capabilities across U.S. federal, state/local and international defense facilities.
