Audax Private Equity Acquires Controlling Interest in Kofile

Audax Private Equity has acquired a controlling interest in Kofile, Inc., a Dallas-based provider of records restoration, preservation, digitization services and cloud-native digital records management software for government agencies. Terms were not disclosed; Ropes & Gray advised Audax while Shea & Company and Gunderson Dettmer advised Kofile.

Docufree Acquires DealerDOCX

Docufree has acquired DealerDOCX, a cloud-based document-intelligence and management provider serving automotive dealerships, to expand its digital-transformation and SaaS offerings in the automotive market. The deal adds DealerDOCX's patented audit-compliance analytics, integrations with major dealer management systems, and a ~350-customer recurring revenue base to Docufree's enterprise information management platform.

Kofax Acquires Ephesoft

The deal expands Kofax's IDP and cloud capabilities and brings Ephesoft's customers, partners and employees into Kofax's global intelligent automation platform; financial terms were not disclosed.

Files.com Acquires ExaVault to Create Largest Cloud-Native File Automation Platform

Files.com, a Riverwood Capital–backed cloud-native SaaS platform headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, acquired ExaVault, a cloud file transfer vendor serving SMB and mid-market customers. The deal combines ExaVault’s customer base and engineering team (CEO David Ordal becomes Files.com CTO) with Files.com’s integration and automation capabilities, creating a combined platform of over 6,500 B2B customers and nearly 2 million GB of stored customer data.
