Stir Foods Acquires Lancaster Fine Foods

Stir Foods, a Wind Point Partners-backed platform, has acquired Lancaster Fine Foods, a private-label and contract manufacturer of sauces, dressings and condiments, expanding Stir's manufacturing footprint to the U.S. East Coast. The acquisition adds a 100,000 sq. ft. SQF-certified facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and is an add-on designed to increase capacity, geographic reach and service for retail, industrial and foodservice customers.

Worldwide Produce Acquires Left Coast Food Company

Worldwide Produce, a portfolio company of Sole Source Capital, has acquired Left Coast Food Company, a San Marcos, California-based foodservice distributor of frozen goods, dry goods and produce. The acquisition expands Worldwide Produce's presence in Southern California and marks the fifth add-on since Worldwide became a Sole Source Capital portfolio company; terms were not disclosed.

The Lachemont Group Acquires Coastal Packaging

The Lachemont Group, a holding company with assets in New Jersey and Los Angeles, has acquired Coastal Packaging, a custom flexible-packaging manufacturer that produces roll stock, open-mouth bags, custom-fit container liners and pallet covers. The acquisition gives Lachemont vertical integration with its existing plastic-processing property and expands the group's geographic and end-market reach while enabling the Coastal Packaging brand to continue operating under new ownership.

SpartanNash Acquires Great Lakes Foods

LaSalle Capital Acquires Joseph's Frozen Foods (with NewSpring Mezzanine financing)

LaSalle Capital, with mezzanine financing from NewSpring Mezzanine, has completed the acquisition of Joseph's Frozen Foods from Brynwood Partners. Joseph's, headquartered in Haverhill, Massachusetts, is a manufacturer of frozen Italian pastas, sauces and meal solutions and will use the partnership capital to support product innovation and production capacity expansion.

Lynn Electronics Acquires Coast 2 Coast (Anaheim)

Lynn Electronics, a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of fiber optic and copper cable assemblies, has acquired Coast 2 Coast, LLC, a cable assembly manufacturer based in Anaheim, California. The acquisition expands Lynn's West Coast production capacity and service offering; Coast 2 Coast's former owner, Lynn Swearingen, will join Lynn as West Coast VP of Operations.
