The acquisition brings Splash's platform — used by 500+ organizations including more than 60 Fortune 1000 companies — into Cvent's product suite to accelerate event marketing capabilities and drive pipeline for customers.

OpenExchange Acquires Veracast Communications

Accenture Makes Strategic Investment in Touchcast

Accenture, through Accenture Ventures, made a strategic investment in Touchcast, a New York–based virtual experience company that uses AI and mixed reality to power immersive virtual events. The companies will deepen their collaboration through Accenture Ventures' Project Spotlight program to co-innovate and scale Touchcast’s platform to Accenture’s enterprise clients; terms were not disclosed.

Blackstone Acquires Cvent with ADIA Minority Stake and Vista Participation

Blackstone, through an affiliate of its private equity funds, completed a cash acquisition of Cvent Holding Corp. for $8.50 per share, implying an enterprise value of about $4.6 billion. The deal includes a significant minority investment from a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and participation from existing stockholder Vista Equity Partners; Cvent will be delisted from Nasdaq.
