J.F. Lehman & Company Acquires Integrated Global Services

J.F. Lehman & Company (through an investment affiliate) acquired Integrated Global Services (IGS), a Richmond, Virginia–based provider of engineered surface protection and metal cladding solutions, in a transaction that closed February 4, 2020. The deal — the first platform investment for JFLCO's JFL Equity Investors V fund — was financed in part with debt from Benefit Street Partners and involved selling shareholders including Industrial Growth Partners.

Lehman & Company, has acquired GE Steam Power’s on-site thermal spray coatings technology, AmStar, including the patented AmStar 888 material. Integrated Global Services, Inc. (IGS) has acquired the engineered coatings and materials business (the "Coatings and Materials Business") of Liquidmetal Industrial Solutions. The Chattanooga-based business, which specializes in high-performance thermal spray application services and materials (including patented Armacor technologies), will join IGS to expand its asset integrity and surface enhancement capabilities; Liquidmetal will continue to operate its remaining mechanical and inspection services.

Cogenuity Partners Acquires Tech Tube and Tube Methods

Cogenuity Partners acquired Tech Tube, Inc. and Tube Methods, Inc., two Pennsylvania-based manufacturers of small-diameter metallic tubing serving aerospace & defense, medical, power generation and industrial end markets. Cogenuity will partner with existing management (Brian and Kevin Johnson retain substantial ownership) and deploy its Collaborative Operations program and capital to accelerate growth.

Kleen-Tech Services Acquires IFS Group, Inc.

Kleen-Tech Services, a nationwide janitorial and custodial services provider based in Denver, has acquired IFS Group, a Charleston-based janitorial and facilities services firm founded in 2002. The acquisition expands Kleen-Tech’s operations into Eastern markets and adds local operational resources and client relationships in the Charleston area.
