Aldine provided a subordinated note and equity investment alongside Stoic Holdings in Accredited Home Elevator, a home elevator manufacturer, installer and maintenance services provider founded by Scott Wallace Sr. and Scott Wallace Jr. Accredited serves homebuilders, architects, contractors and homeowners along the U.S. East Coast; the financing is intended to support growth, platform development and add-on activity.

Platinum Equity Acquires Sunrise Medical from Nordic Capital

Platinum Equity has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Sunrise Medical Group, a Germany-headquartered global manufacturer and distributor of assistive mobility products, from Nordic Capital. The buyout (expected to close in Q3 2024) positions Platinum to pursue a buy-and-build strategy to expand Sunrise's geographic footprint—particularly in North America—and to accelerate product and operational investments.

Urban Elevator Service, a privately owned elevator contracting firm backed by Skydeck Capital, has acquired Aventura Elevator through its Florida subsidiary, Urban Elevator Service FL. The deal expands Urban Elevator's footprint in the Miami–Fort Lauderdale corridor and adds Aventura's installation, modernization, repair and maintenance capabilities and employees to Urban's platform; deal terms were not disclosed.
