SavATree has acquired Branches Tree Experts of Kensington, Maryland, bringing founder Michael Guercin and his staff into SavATree’s Rockville, MD branch. The acquisition expands SavATree’s presence in the DC Metro area and adds Branches’ arboriculture and forestry consulting capabilities to SavATree’s residential and commercial tree, shrub and lawn care services.

SavATree Merges with Downey Trees Inc.

SavATree, a national tree, shrub and lawn care services provider, announced a merger with Downey Trees Inc., a full-service tree care company based in the Atlanta area. The deal expands SavATree's presence in the Southeast — adding offices in Norcross and Savannah, Georgia and an entry into the Florida Panhandle (Destin) — and gives Downey Trees' customers access to SavATree's broader service offerings.

SavATree Acquires Glynn Tree Experts

SavATree, a national tree, shrub and lawn care services company, has acquired Glynn Tree Experts, a residential-focused tree care firm serving the South Shore of Massachusetts. Glynn will become SavATree’s fourth Massachusetts branch, expanding SavATree’s local presence and allowing Glynn’s customers access to SavATree’s broader portfolio of lawn, plant health and organic programs.

Funds Advised by Apax to Acquire SavATree from CI Capital Partners

Funds advised by Apax have agreed to acquire SavATree, a Bedford Hills, New York-based provider of tree, shrub and lawn care services, from CI Capital Partners. The transaction (terms undisclosed) is expected to close in Q4 2021; Apax intends to accelerate SavATree's growth organically and via strategic M&A while partnering with the existing leadership team.

SavATree Acquires Kaiser Tree Preservation

SavATree has acquired Kaiser Tree Preservation of Exeter, Rhode Island, marking SavATree’s first Rhode Island office and its 52nd branch. Kaiser, a provider of tree, plant health, and tick/mosquito control services since 1974, and its team will join SavATree to broaden service offerings in the state.

SavATree Acquires Giroud Tree and Lawn

SavATree has acquired Pennsylvania-based Giroud Tree and Lawn and will convert the business into a new SavATree branch in Huntingdon Valley to serve the greater Philadelphia area. The deal expands SavATree’s Southeastern Pennsylvania footprint to three offices and brings Giroud principals Lou Giroud and Drew Slousky and their team into SavATree’s branch network.
