British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) and Preservation Capital Partners (PCP) agreed to invest in UK-headquartered insurance broker BMS Group at a valuation of £500 million (USD 636 million). The transaction, expected to close in Q3 2019 subject to regulatory approvals, is a minority/growth investment that leaves BMS management and staff as significant shareholders and supports the firm's continued independent growth.
